BattersBox108 serves users involved in amateur baseball and softball communities.

Users may include, but are not limited to:

• Players;
• Parents and guardians;
• Team administrators;
• Coaches;
• Trainers and instructors;
• Umpires;
• League administrators;
• Tournament directors;
• Facility operators;
• Organizations.

Users under eighteen (18) years of age may only use the Platform through an account created, managed, or authorized by a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult, unless applicable law permits otherwise.

By using the Platform, you represent that:

• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms;
• Information you provide is accurate and truthful;
• You will keep your account information current.

2. Platform Purpose

BattersBox108 provides tools intended to facilitate connections within the amateur baseball and softball community.

The Platform may allow users to:

• Discover teams, players, trainers, organizations, and umpires;
• Promote opportunities;
• Seek opportunities;
• Communicate with other users;
• Participate in future scheduling, messaging, and related features.

BattersBox108 is not an employer, recruiting agency, sports governing body, sanctioning organization, school, league operator, or tournament operator.

3. No Guarantees

BattersBox108 does not guarantee:

• Team placement;
• Recruitment opportunities;
• Playing time;
• Roster selection;
• Tournament acceptance;
• Umpire assignments;
• Trainer bookings;
• Business outcomes;
• Revenue generation;
• Skill development;
• Safety of interactions;
• Accuracy of user-provided information.

Use of the Platform is at your own discretion.

4. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• The content they post;
• Information they provide;
• Decisions they make;
• Interactions conducted through or outside the Platform;
• Verification of opportunities;
• Conduct during events and communications.

You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment and caution when interacting with other users.

5. Community Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others;
• Discriminate based on protected characteristics;
• Impersonate another person or organization;
• Misrepresent credentials, certifications, affiliations, or experience;
• Use fake identities;
• Submit fraudulent opportunities;
• Solicit illegal activity;
• Upload unlawful, obscene, or sexually explicit material;
• Engage in stalking or unwanted contact;
• Circumvent messaging restrictions;
• Collect information from minors for improper purposes;
• Attempt to exploit, groom, manipulate, or otherwise endanger minors;
• Use the Platform to spam users;
• Interfere with the operation of the Platform.

Violation of these standards may result in suspension or permanent removal.

6. Youth Safety

BattersBox108 is committed to promoting a safe environment.

Users acknowledge that:

• BattersBox108 does not conduct universal background checks;
• BattersBox108 does not certify the safety, qualifications, or suitability of users;
• Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising minors;
• Users should report concerning conduct immediately;
• Future communication tools may include reporting and moderation features.

Any suspected exploitation, abuse, grooming, or unlawful conduct involving minors may result in immediate action, including account termination and cooperation with appropriate authorities.

7. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to report:

• Harassment;
• Fraudulent listings;
• Impersonation;
• Unsafe behavior;
• Inappropriate communications;
• Suspected youth exploitation;
• Violations of these Terms.

BattersBox108 reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate reports and take appropriate action.

We do not guarantee that every report will result in a particular outcome.

8. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
• Restricting access to your account;
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorized use.

You may not share accounts in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of compromise or misuse.

9. Paid Services

Certain features may require paid subscriptions now or in the future.

Subscription terms, pricing, renewal procedures, and cancellation policies will be disclosed before payment is required.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in reduced access or suspension of paid features.

10. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you submit.

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant BattersBox108 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for operating, improving, promoting, and maintaining the Platform.

You represent that you possess the rights necessary to provide such content.

11. Platform Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service.

However, BattersBox108 makes no guarantees regarding:

• Availability;
• Uptime;
• Performance;
• Error-free operation;
• Feature continuity.

Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued without notice.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BATTERSBOX108 DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BATTERSBOX108 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

THIS INCLUDES DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

• USER INTERACTIONS;
• INJURIES;
• RECRUITING DECISIONS;
• TEAM DECISIONS;
• UMPIRING DECISIONS;
• TRAINING OUTCOMES;
• MISREPRESENTATIONS BY USERS;
• LOST PROFITS;
• LOST DATA;
• BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), OR
• THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO BATTERSBOX108 DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BattersBox108, its owners, officers, affiliates, employees, and representatives from claims arising from:

• Your use of the Platform;
• Your content;
• Your conduct;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of applicable law.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Platform at our discretion for violations of these Terms or conduct we reasonably believe threatens the safety, integrity, or operation of the community.

Termination may occur without prior notice.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating formal legal action, users agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith discussions.

If disputes cannot be resolved informally, they shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and users consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically.

Updated Terms will become effective upon posting.

Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
